DLV dates

I think I'm haveing a 'senior moment". I need some clarification please.
Were the dates for DLV 2004 selected because of the Tech Convention.
IOW, those who attend the T+I can do both the DLV and the convention on
one ticket?Or did they select the dates because of Mother's Day falling
after the last DLV day. I'm confused. Annie, can you enlighten me. After
reading some of the comments that have been flying through dlvdisc I am
more confused that ever.

This was one consideration, of many, yes.

I don't think anybody voted for the timeframe *because* it ended right
before Mothers Day. I do believe that most people who voted for it knew
it, or should have known it, since it was mentioned several times in the
discussion leading up to the vote.

There were three timeframes put to the vote.

Each person voting had to take into account countless factors, two of
which might have been N+I and Mothers day, when casting their vote.

I prefer

b. March 27 to April 1
C. April 3 to April 8

NO May9, because All I heard is the bitchin on how hot it was,
especially to play golf

I would prefer April 3 - 8 ... far enough from holidays to keep the
peace at home ;^)

I'm no longer a practicing Catholic since I retired my rosary beads and
crucifix. Dennis & I have found a loving and accepting church in Unity,
you know the church of the Daily Word magazine. So, any of the dates in
April would be okay with us.

Forget May......it's just too hot.
