Hi Girls,

Just thinking about other shows besides the Folies show at the Tropicana
and Blue Man Group. Remember, this is Las Vegas and there is a show for
every taste.

If it is a "skin" show, we might consider Jubilee @ Bally's, Midnight
Fantasy @ Luxor, or Splash @ the Riviera. Also, there's always Wayne
Newton at the Stardust. These shows are topless with age restrictions,
except for the Wayne Newton. Also, they have early shows which would
still allow us time for the Limo Tour to end at midnight or 1 a.m.

Just a couple of options.

Huggs,

Aiko

Wayne only performs personally {mumble 100-something} shows per year,
plus the comments on the alt.vacation.las-vegas newsfroup seem to
indicate that his voice is not in the best shape.

Splash was actually an official activity at DLV 2000. There wasn't much
skin, but we were all quite impressed with the motorcycle riders in the
round cage. Splash was more of a spectacle and big stage show. They
had long since abandoned their water theme and were using ice skating
instead.

Really, LaFemme had far more emphasis on the feminine form than either
Splash or Folies.

Some of these shows only go topless for the late show and advertise the
early show as suitable for all ages. Folies was definitely that way in
2001.

I liked LaFemme, I just didn't like my seat.

Shows open and close, and go through recasting, rewrites, and
rejuvenations. Plenty of time to look at all the options closer to
2003.

I'm glad you liked LaFemme. As the organizer for this venue last year, I
was dissapointed with both the show and the seating, despite what I was
told when I bought the tickets earlier that morning. <ducking and
sighing>.

I like the idea of an upscale fast paced Vegas show. I'm not so sure
about the Blues. If that is what the group votes for, I might have a
hard time convincing myself to attend.

I would also like to suggest another possibility. Celiene Dion and the
Hilton, I believe. I've always wanted to see her in person. Yes, there
is bias here, for I'm a HUGE Celiene fan :) But it may not be
everyone's cup of tea.

Just a suggestion sisters.

Annie, and et.al.---

As part of the "town hall meeting/forum" ..a la New England Town Hall
format---my response:

I would prefer the Vegas -----Splash--Follies---or---Artsy--Blue Man or
"O" format. I liked last year's LaFemme... although it might have
pushed the "envelop" for some!!!
