Hi Girls,

I have been reading your postings here and it sounds like DLV was a hit
again as usual. I attended about five years ago and had a blast but work
has kept me here not being able to attend. Oh well such is life.

I am really interested in putting together a group of girls who would
like to cruise every other year with the Atlantis Charters. Last year we
cruised Mexico out of Los Angeles and it was terrific.

I was able to be Bobbie every day, I took costumes, all my gowns and I
even make the video twice. It was so great being on a ship for a week
and no one cared. I was able to be me.

I really would like to know if there are others who would like to be
part of a group in 2010, in the fall, I don't want to conflict with DLV.
If we could keep each other posted with email, I will let you know where
the cruise goes and how we could be together. If any of you are
interested please let me know. Just remember I get to wear the feathers.

Hi,

Sounds like a interesting idea... looked on the web for more information
on this company, Atlantis Charters - found fishing and diving boats,
but found Atlantis Events that is part of the Royal Caribbean Cruise
ship line.. which has a Cruise to Mexico.

If I have the correct web pages:

"Atlantis Events is the largest gay and lesbian tour operator in the
world, hosting some 20,000 guests annually." See more general info:

They have a LA to Mexico (Riviera) Cruise Oct 18-25, 2009. Pink Fest
is from Thursday, October 22 - Sunday,October 25, so there is conflict,
but I think this is the one Bobbie is talking about:

areas, about half are already sold out, looks like its now starting at

Looks like a gay and lesbian cruise so cding on this cruise should be
'safer' than if it was a mainstream boat cruise.

whenever you please, with whom you want to, creating the perfect
setting to visit with friends old and new. As with all Atlantis
cruises, therebs never a dress code, or formal nights."

So its not the traditional cruise with a 'Captain's Dinner' and required
formal dining attire and times, which meant a gown and possibly glitz
too...yes, I know some like to do this, but this cruise is more dine
when you want to, at the many restaurants they have on the ship.

For me I have to add a flight to and from LA. There is a promotion code
that is with American Airlines, but it still means for me a added total
air price beginning at round $400-$500 no matter what airline I use,
and also the added cost to go by taxi to and from the ship and LAX.

Bobbie, Just read your post concerning a cruise to Mexico in 2010. I
know that I and my GG are interested. I would love to cruise and it
would be great to spend time on board dinning and dancing our way to
sunny Mexico. Please keep us all appraised on the progress of this
event. I know it conflicts with Pink fest, but its much easier for us to
get to LA than it is to Chicago. We are genuinely interested.
