Dear Annie,
First of all I would like to thank all of you girls for putting on what
I believe is one of the premier Transgendered events of the year !
I know what it takes to put on an event like this and what it
is PERSONALLY costing you all in time and money. Which leads me to a
suggestion.
It's time to consider in all fairness that a registration fee be charged
to help cover all your expenses. I think a registration fee
(non-refundable) be collected at the time a person registers for the
event of $25.(I can only imagine how much money (profit) other events
pull in and I don't have half the fun like I do in Vegas !) Besides(LOL)
I left more than $25 in each casino that I visited !!!!!! so a
registration fee is welcomed. You girls are the best, I only wish that
you all were not so busy so that you too could have fun and get to
mingle with us girls more.
The Sahara.................stayed there last year, can't figure out why
I went back ??? I was very confused however (no fault of DLV in any
manner)about the Buffet there, was I supposed to bring my pet??? I
would have glady exchanged my lunch for his purina.
Want an excellent buffet, try Harrah's.......I go out of my way to dine
there. And the people that work there are wonderful ! I never realized
that the location of the Imperial Palace was so close to the strip and
all that was going on ! No doubt that I'll try that next year. Little
footnote: We used the city busses this year alot when moving up and down
the strip and going downtown. The busses are efficient, clean, run 24/7
and hit the stops every 15 mins. Not bad for $2. The bus drivers were
all very courteous, one driver even seemed a little intriqued.
Very late one night or very early one morning we had a very enjoyable
ride back from downtown to the hotel. The bus was packed and 99 % of the
bus was Sh#$Faced. The remaing 1% was the bus driver (Sober, I think).
Anyway, it was a party on the bus with all of us interacting with each
other and eventually the conversation turned to sex, specifically oral
sex.(where else could it go!) The whole bus was rivited as a husband
with his wife told me that the wife does not have a gag reflex. Of
course I tell him so the rest of the bus could hear of course, "Hold
onto her ! She's a keeper !" At that point the converstaion sounded more
like a U.S. bombing raid on an Iraqi adult bookstore!
Laura and I had a very fun time at the Casino bars, try it some time, we
must have hit 8-10 casinos and had a ball. Sit at the bar, feed $10 into
the video poker machine. Order your drink, tip well and rest assured
your glass will never get empty! $10 lasts a few hours if your a slow
player like me. Many people went out of their way to strike up a
conversation with us.
Don't miss downtown !!! What a total blast. We must have had our photos
taken in excess of 50 times. (most thought we were entertainers and I
didn't say that were were not ,( I can't even lipsynk when my dog barks!
) The Hidden Woman was a fun trip, I spent way too much there but they
didn't seem to mind. An Apology. And I feel so bad about this. I was
signed up for the air tour and "finked"out. I really wanted to go but
have a slight problem. I get easily airsick and heard that it would have
been a bumpy ride. All I could do was imagining myself all dressed up,
vomiting uncontrollably in my poor sisters beautiful airplane. Please
accept my apology as this was the first time ever I have stood anyone
up.
I look forward to DLV2004 and seeing all of you again !Hugs-Lori
