Appropriate Behavior?

Postby PrettyMissPaula » Sat Apr 26, 2025 10:43 am

Hi! My wife and I are interested in coming to DLV this Oct. 2025. Although we are excited about the social side of things (we love going out with me dressed up), we also enjoy meeting other like-minded adults/couples for safe, sane, consensual, and creative private play. Is private play allowed/encouraged or prohibited? We want to respect the norms/rules, so knowing will help us decide whether DLV is for us.

Thanks so much for your candid feedback!

Sincerely,

Paula, Ms. Katherine's Sissy Husband

I'll speak very freely here.

What consenting adults do behind closed doors in their hotel rooms, or in various establishments that permit adult play, is their business only! We are well aware that whenever people get together, some intimacy will occur.

We have, however, received complaints over the years about behavior which has made other attendees uncomfortable.

The most-reported is when an individual or a couple approaches another individual or couple and "hits on" them regarding adult play participation. What generates the most complaints is when those doing the "inviting" quickly make the rounds from individual to individual and/or couple to couple with their unwanted invitations.

What has also generated multiple complaints over the years is when a couple (or more) engage in some extended "carrying on", for lack of a better term, in a general public venue, such as a restaurant or casino cocktail lounge.

One other thing I would caution about is to stay away from the heavily-advertised services that provide "escorts" or "private dancers" for a fee. Several years ago we had an attendee assaulted when a dispute arose over terms of services to be provided.

That's about it. Please have fun and enjoy life and each other's company, but please be aware of the comfort level of other attendees, particularly those who are new to public exposure.
