That's right! We're only two weeks out from the big event.

We are looking forward to seeing everyone in person!

If you want to participate in Diva Las Vegas 2023, YES, there is still
time to get in on things, but you need to act now!

You can register for the DLV 2023 event on line here:

If you need a hotel room, information about our suggested hotel for
DLV 2023, The Linq, plus the booking link, is on line here:

Shortly after you register, you will receive your invitation to sign up
for optional activities. You will want to do this as soon as possible
as some of the optional activities are filling up fast!

During the week prior to the big event, we will be releasing the Final
Attendee Information, which will contain schedules, maps, contact
information, etc.

Details about the Final Attendee Information will appear in next week's
general mailing.

What is important for all to remember is that if you have any questions
or concerns, if anything is uncertain or unclear to you, is that you
address these items sooner rather than later, as in before you arrive in
Las Vegas.

Activity notes:

Everyone who registered for DLV 2023 prior to last Thursday should have
now received their Activity Sign-Up invitations. If you registered
before Thursday and did not receive this, please write in, just reply
to this mailing, and say so and we will get it on the way to you.

Those who registered on Thursday or after will get their Activity
Sign-Up invitations toward the beginning of the coming week.

This takes just a few minutes.

Alternatively, you can re-visit your Attendee Information Portal, which
is the link you received via email right after you registered.

If you do not wish to take part in any of the optional activities, you
can either go to the Activity Sign-Up screen and submit a blank
submission, or else reply to your activity sign-up invitation (or
reminder) saying that you will be attending but you do not want to do
any optional activities.

As of this Friday evening, most of the optional activities still have
plenty of space left.

However, the following activities may have capacity issues:

Lunch and Topgolf on Tuesday is full and is in a waiting list state.
The waiting list is currently short, but the activity does have a hard
capacity limit.

The Ruth's Chris dining option on Wednesday is full and in a waiting
list state. Again, the wait list is short, but the activity does have
a hard limit.

The Margaritaville dinner on Saturday is right at capacity as of this
time.

Activities which are in a waiting list state will be noted on the
Activity Sign-Up screen.

Concerns and issues:

It's been reported and confirmed that the ticketing screen for Vegas
The Show only allows the purchase of one ticket. If you wish to purchase
two (or more) tickets, the Coordinator of the activity requests that you
simply book the tickets one at a time.

Those booking tickets using the ticketing screen before October 20 will
be seated together.

There's been some concern expressed regarding the traffic situation
caused by the preparation for November's Formula One race, in
particular, how it may affect the Limousine Tour on Wednesday of DLV
week.

The Limo Volunteers have been following this closely, and the reports
from the Clark County Department Of Roads indicate that there are no
planned significant traffic disruptions planned for the week in which
DLV 2023 is being held.

In the event of unexpected traffic issues, we have multiple alternate
routes planned between the Limo Tour stops so delays in the Limo Tour
will be very unlikely.

There will be a temporary bridge routing Flamingo Road over Koval, and
construction of this should be complete before the week of DLV. This
will not impact traffic to and from the Linq Hotel parking structure.

other traffic-related information.

Activity Highlight - Our second major gathering, Thursday:

This year's 2nd major gathering is looking to be a wonderful event.

Jennifer T has made special arrangements with Virgil's Real BBQ for our
party and it should be terrific. Even if you don't love BBQ, you will
love the chance to socialize with gorgeous friends.

Located at the Linq Promenade, it will be a short walk, for most, and
easy to find.

Unlike some of our other dining events, Virgil's will be doing shared
checks for each table of 4 to 6 people. This should not be an
inconvenience if people are willing to prepare in advance. Cash is
obviously the easiest way to settle the tab among a group. We will try
to have enough change available to help. Just keep in mind a few things
and it should be painless:

1. Note what you ordered and the cost, including drinks and appetizers.
If appetizers are ordered make sure it's understood, among all at your
table if you are sharing, how, and by who, the cost will be covered.

2. Understand that Las Vegas has a significant sales tax combined from
the county and state.

The current total rate is 8.38% so for example:

Your dinner cost was $23.99
Appetizer $9.99
Drinks *$57.30* (what?)

Total $91.28 x 1.0838 = $98.93 total w/tax

3. Tips aren't normally included in the check for groups of 4 to 6 so
that shouldn't be a worry, but remember, the wait staff works really
hard to accommodate large groups so remember to tip as you feel
appropriate.

Just a note: ATM's are located all around Las Vegas but you will find
that, especially in the casinos, they charge significant fees to get
cash, so plan ahead if you can.
