Schedule? (was Re: Playing the Big Sister role)

Is there a firm schedule of "what, where, when " , and if there is could
you email me a copy?

I probably will not be able to be at everything, but would like to know,
so I can "work in", whatever I can.

Many thanks, in advance,

Lyseth

We really don't have one yet. We will probably put that together in September. We will post it here.

If there's anything that you (or anyone) want to do, please say so in order that we can get it included.

Schedule?

As far as things to do, I want to try to find a play and/or show and
maybe see what the symphony has on.

Other cultural things?

I've also never been to the Museum of Science and Energy and have
recently read its a must, www.msichicago.org, However I think Pinfest
included this on the schedule in the past, is it time for a repeat.

Another thing I enjoyed a few years ago was a boat tour of the Chicago
River Elara organized. I could do it, or a similar one again. Any
interest?

We are earlier this year, anything on the Navy Pier of interest that
will still be open?

When I get time I'm going to be making some suggestions and hope others,
especially those who know Chicago much better than me, will too!

I've been since the original Pinkfest MSI tour but I would be ready to do it again. It's definitely worth the trip and always very interesting with regularly updated exhibits. You can spend several hours there and not see all of it.

LOL, just don't have a loaded weapon in your trunk when you enter the parking garage. :) :) :) :)

As soon as is possible, please. This is a busy time of the year for me,
and I have to be able to plan things.......;) :) OK - - - try to :)

I do have "His" events, and I do have "Her" events, and sometimes have
to choose which will be and which will not, and then there's the "can
you be here on the ______ ?" If I know what's happening that evening I
might be able to make the decision a bit more easily, and not come to
regret saying yes, then finding out there's something better happening
that evening.

September 11.12.13.14, has already been committed to - - :) "play with
my toys, in public! "

Kelly Morrissy http://www.izapem.com/ is offering to have an open house
at her office in Oak Park. She is flexible with the date and can have
it whichever day Pinkfest is in Oak Park.

Her new office has a large reception area where we can can hang out.
She now offers make-overs and messages. She would provide beverages and
munchies in the office for us.

Your note kind of jump-started things.

We'll have a very preliminary outline (not complete and NOT FINAL) by the end of the weekend.

If there's anything that you (or anybody) want to see on the schedule, now is the time to speak up.

The way things look we'll do things centered around Oak Park on Thursday. Let's put this in at 2:00pm as a place holder. It can be changed any time. Thanks.

I've been the Museum of Science and Industry many times. It's a great
place you can visit for days! Take the Metra Electric. The station the
train stops at varies depending if it's a local or express. It's a
manageable walk in comfortable shoes which you should be wearing because
you'll be walking a lot in this big museum!

That's what we did the last time I went to MSI. We caught it at Randolph and it was maybe $3 per person, much cheaper than a taxi. Very easy walk to the museum entrance.

If the current draft of the preliminary schedule sticks, we'll be doing Lunch With Ginger that day on Adams Street and that's a two-block or so walk to another station on the same line.

There's also supposed to be a "Museum Campus Circulator" shuttle which would be more convenient. We'll check this out prior to the trip.
