History has shown that almost any hotel will be TG-friendly as
long as you pay your bill, don't trash the place, and behave
as a lady or gentleman, whichever you prefer.

That's the good news ...

Here's the ba^H^Hother than good news ...

As far as hotel options, you basically have two choices.

1. Hotels in the city, for rates in the range of borderline
reasonable to totally obscene.

2. Hotels in the burbs with very reasonable rates.

As far as hotels in the boystown area, the only one I can think
of in the immediate vicinity is City Suites, an independent
"boutique" hotel right on Belmont just west of Halsted.

There are also some other hotels (I think there's a Best
Western in there) on Broadway, north of Belmont. There's a
Days Inn on Clark, around Diversey, IIRC. None of these will
be cheap, but they will not be as bad as most of the downtown
hotels.

Some of our people stay at the Red Roof Inn at Ontario and
St. Clair. This is typically cheaper than most in that area.
There's a HoJo on LaSalle just north of Ontario. If you're
feeling lucky, there's the Ohio House Motel at Ohio and
LaSalle.

Out in Elk Grove Village, there's a Days Inn right next to
Hunters Dance Club, which is very reasonable and we've had
our people stay there. Hunters is a TG hangout. There are
endless options for low-budget to very nice places in the
burbs out around O'Hare.

If you let us know exactly what you want in terms of a
hotel, we can give more specific suggestions.
