FYI - Maybe this should be on the Pinkfest schedule.
Illinois Gender Advocates will be hosting a showing of No Dumb Questions
and Just Call Me Kade with a panel discussion at the PFLAG GLBT Film
Series in Oak Park, IL, at 2:30 PM on Sunday October 23rd at the Oak
Park Public Library. This is just down the street from Winberie's which
is a popular Pinkfest restaurant that has a great Sunday brunch. This
event was very well attended in 2010. They even gave us a tour of the
library which has one of the oldest and largest Transgender Resource
Collections of any public library and implemented a transgender friendly
policy.

Oak Park is easily accessible from downtown Chicago (ten minutes) on the
blue or green lines on the CTA "L" trains and has lots of shops,
restaurants, and history. The biggest collection of Frank Lloyd Wright
homes in the world is there along with the Ernest Hemingway home and
museum. Very trans friendly community.
