Center on Halsted Tour

Here is an idea. The Center on Halsted is a world class facility for
the LGBT community in Chicago. They celebrated their one year
anniversary this past June. It is worth the tour. There is a regular
public building tour scheduled for October 25th at 1 PM. The building
has a nice cafe for lunch on the first floor. This is a very safe,
friendly, and totally welcoming venue for a T-event. It is easy to get
to by mass transit. It is right in the heart of Boys Town which has
hosted many Pinkfest events in the past. Any thoughts?

Are there any T friendly hotels or motels in the area. and what type of
room rates do they have?
