Pinkfest,

I just moved to the Chicagolands this summer, and found the
website/event as a link from the CGS.

How big was the event last year (number of attendees)?

I do not fit the mold in many senses, I am not an admirer, rather pre
transition/questioning.

Are there different groups that do different things throughout the day?

Are there any standards on people taking pictures? I would rather not
have my picture taken in this stage of transition it may turn to become
awkward in the future.

First of all, welcome, glad you found us. Better late than never.

If you want to join us, the one thing you will want to do is to
catch up on the recent mailings in the list archives at:

We're smaller than most TG events, for now anyway. I think the grand
total last year was 24, with never the entire group in any one place
at any one time.

We welcome all in the TG community. You'll find that many of the
Pinkfest people don't fit any stereotype of what is assumed to be
in the community.

Our activities are mostly in the evening, but there's a daily lunch
and things like vendor open house sessions in the day.

The basic photo guideline is to consider others, particularly in terms
of not capturing those who don't want to appear.

If you don't want to be photographed, do tell any who are snapping
away to not shoot you, and if there's a call for everybody to get up
and pose for a shot, don't get up there.

Anything else, please ask, hope to see you next week. :)
