A safe and uneventful trip home today! It is incredible that in a matter
of hours one can go from downtown Chicago to a far suburb of Atlanta and
never set foot on the ground! You all remain close in my heart although
we are far away.

Sadly, there was one long-time participant absent because of an
unexpected family loss and very much missed. There was also an
unexpected exigency that contributed to a change in schedule which
was not addressed as well as hindsight would have permitted.

Second City, Tommy Guns, and Once were all excellent choices and I
commend those who suggested them. We need to continue to emphasize these
opportunities which in the past have included the symphony and other
cultural events only a big city like Chicago which values the arts can
provide.

We continue to learn from our experiences and I look forward with
confidence to future special vacations with friends. With our experience
comes the ability to deal with exigencies as they develop, unexpected as
they may be. Thanks for what everyone did to make this vacation one to
remember and thanks for your contributions in the years to come!

I think of Chicago as more that just a place to visit. I also hope to
see many of you in Las Vegas next year, but just a few months from now!
