First of all, welcome to everybody who just joined the list. We've had
quite a few list joins over the last few days. Hope to see all of you
next month. :)

The one thing I would strongly advise everybody to do if you have not
done so already is to make those hotel reservations while you still
have a good choice and decent rates are available.

To answer one question:

Elena does not have the final schedule made yet, but when it's ready,
depending on circumstances, it will either be posted here in the list
or mailed out to those who are coming.

A few general things we do know as far as tentative plans ...

There will be a daily Lunch With Ginger on Fri-Sat-Sun. Ginger will
choose the locations. These will be announced in the final schedule.

On Thursday evening we'll probably be doing things in the River North
area. Exact times and locations TBA.

Friday afternoon there will be an Open House at Janna's Place in River
Grove, followed by dinner and clubbing in the 'burbs.

Saturday afternoon we have a tentative Open House at a wig shop just
north of the Lakeview area. (Pamela, can we please have confirmation
on this and a time? Thanks.)

Saturday evening we're planning to dine and go clubbing in the Boys Town
(Lakeview) area. Exact times and locations TBA.

Sunday evening will most likely be dinner and a quiet bar somewhere.

Elena will be setting up the various details in the next few weeks,
and input from all is welcome if you have any particular things in
mind that you think the group would like to do.

I am glad that have some new people joining the list. Annie, I just
posted the Pinkfest dates to a number of Chicago area Yahoo groups in
case you were wondering.

Annie gave a good summary of the Pinkfest schedule. I will send out a
detailed schedule by Sunday (hopefully sooner).

We've picked up a number of new list members lately, several
from DLV. Welcome. If you have any questions or concerns, please
let us know.

If you're new to the list, please take a few minutes to review
the back mailings, either on the Yahoo group or on the web at:

Elena has posted a tentative schedule and comments are welcome.

For those familiar with DLV, there's far less formality with
Pinkfest. You register by simply writing in and saying you will
be with us. There's no activity sign-up, you just answer to the
headcount requests when they come up.

hi! I'm not familiar with the procedures, but i would like to
attend some of your events. can you tell me when the first one
is, and then I could get a handle on what follows? or do you
have a schedule for the entire week?

it sounds like fun and I'd love to join you, but I'm not that
expert at working around the web and a simple e-mail would help.
