First of all, I owe some responses to a few Pinkfesters. I have not forgotten, just way behind in my correspondence. If there's anything that I have in my personal queue that's time-sensitive, please ping me.

We could very easily set up a "Pink Org" mailing list if we want, either a "reflector-exploder" type of thing or a more formal moderated list such as we use for the planning of DLV.

The reason we spun off the DLVORG list from the main DLV lists is that the planning discussions tended to drown out the more general chit-chat and vice versa. We ended up with three lists, the DLV Discussion Forum, the DLV Announcement List, and the DLV ORG list. We've also at times had a separate DLVGOLF list since during the early 2000s the golf planning and chit-chat actually monopolized what became the Discussion Forum.

The Pinkfest board didn't seem overwhelmed by chit-chat during 2017, but then I'm a newcomer. However, I do believe in organization and consistency (even though I don't always practice them) and separating the various topics (like on the DLV board) sounds like a good idea. Michelle
