WELCOME TO DIVA LAS VEGAS 2004! We hope you have a terrific time while here and to that end we would like to offer a few suggestions that might help insure you of having the best time possible. These suggestions have been culled from actual incidents over the years and we hope you can see the benefit of adhering to them. Thank you for your cooperation and compliance in these issues. Doing YOUR part will help make DLV 2004 a positive experience for everyone. . . . . . Behavior: Inappropriate behavior in public which brings undesirable attention or embarrassment to the group will not be tolerated. Patently illegal behavior will not be tolerated, and if necessary will be reported to the appropriate authorities. . . . . . Public restrooms: You are solely responsible to determine which restroom you will use, if any, and accept any consequences that may occur. Caution is strongly advised when using any public restroom. Any advice about use of a ladies restroom from DLV organizers or attendees is considered advisory only, and no authorization for use of is given nor implied. Entering a ladies rest room at any venue is considered high risk. Using a ladies rest room in a group is especially high risk and must be avoided. DLV organizers consider this act as your total lack of concern for others, who could suffer great embarrassment from your actions. This happened at the previous DLV. . . . . . Dress: Please remember that your dress and behavior in public as an individual does reflect on the group as a whole. Over the past 7 years we've built up the reputation of being fun loving ladies and gentlemen, but decent and well-behaved. Let's do what we can to keep this image. Suggested dress guidelines will be posted on the activity schedule for each activity. For activities held in mainstream locations, you are expected to dress according to what is considered usual and customary to blend with the general population for that activity. Although the DLV organizers do not wish to hamper your individuality, you are expected to dress in a manner which reflects appropriate age, size, style, and modesty for mainstream activities. You may dress in either complete boymode or complete girlmode for any activity, and you are expected to make a serious attempt to dress in a presentable manner, in good taste, and in a manner appropriate for that activity. Dressing in a manner intended to flaunt transgenderism or to attract attention is NOT acceptable. Admission to DLV activities may be denied to those whose dress is clearly inappropriate for that particular activity.
